With the town rebuilt and reuniting with Arthur for the first time after years, the princess was full of joy and the two tightly embraced each other.īut at that time. Arthur, hearing about this in a neighboring country, rushes back to the kingdom. While seeing Arthur off in his journey, Princess Prin Prin was sure that Arthur would someday return, and the people began the reconstruction of the damaged castle and town.Īfter 4 years and some months, the town was crowded with people who celebrate the complete reconstruction. Before this would happen, Arthur decides to travel in search of a weapon powerful enough to completely extinguish Lucifer. The SNES RPGs are so powerful that they could light an entire city with their awesomeness. In his dying breath, Lucifer says that he will not be completely gone and swears that he will eventually revive and return to reign the world. Phantasy Star 4? Please! That game is so weak it couldn't power the world's weakest LED. Genesis only has shitty, fast-paced games which require quick thought and action and no complex RPGs for the slower thinkers. As a result, the SNES destroyed the puny Genesis thanks to its RPG library which consisted of nothng but perfect games. RPGs require the processing power of a half-dead gnat so it was a perfect console for them. Thanks to the crippling slow SNES CPU that's slower than a constipated turd in a fossilized dinosaur, we ended up getting a lot of RPGs since that's one of the things that don't need much CPU resources to do. All around it was just a bucket of stupidity. Developers were even more stupid because they usually chose to run the SNES even slower than the 3.58Mhz clock speed. They put in a slow processor because Nintendo is either cheap or stupid. The SNES is slow because it has a slow processor. Was this just something tha twas overlooked by Nintendo when they built the SNES? I know the whole "blast processing" advertisment campaign was just clever wording but there is no denying the SNES feels really chuggy with regards to frame rate when compared to the Genesis. This game, I understand it's much simplier, but the game is flying compared to Gradius III. I played through Gradius III and thought, "my God this is half the speed of the slowest Genesis shoot em up, but what about compared to NES?" Plugged in the NES and tried Gradius. I almost can't play some of these games today and when compared to the older Sega Genesis they don't hold up as well due to the slow frame rate. Whenever there is a lot going on on screen the game play just starts grinding. Why did Nintendo put such a slow processor in the SNES? I was playng Super Ghouls and Ghosts and it's crippling slow compared to Ghouls and Ghosts on the Genesis. Playing through the SNES library all weekend and I have to ask a question probably has an obvious answer from you tech guys.
